Flowers
are are one of my favorite subjects. I always seek to capture
unique views of all the lovely flowers I encounter.
Lovely Dianthus
These
lovely flowers really got my attention. The delicate patterns
and colors were delightful to view and capture.
Buds
These
lovely buds were captured during the spring. When summer arrived,
the flowers were gone and all that was left were plain green
leaves.
Softly
Soft
blurs of wonderful color are delightful to view. I have been
experimenting with creating softness through photo technique
and filters as well as digitally. A few of my favorites are below.

After
The Rain
Still
wet after the late afternoon's shower, these flowers were photographed
during an overcast day with the sun trying to peak out after
the storm.
Bold
Pink
Not
all pink flowers are timid and shy. Strong compositions and simple
backgrounds put the spotlight on these bold florals
Floral Clusters
Groups
of brightly colored flowers get my attention every time. Before
zooming in for individual flower portraits, I always make a few
photographs of the groups that captured my eye.
Country
Florals
Country
fairs are often good places to find lovely floral displays. Here
are a few of my current favorites
Togetherness
Initially
it was the bright colors that got my attention here. But it was
the two overlapping flowers that really captured my eye and inspired
many wonderful compositions.
